Bovine Genome-wide CRISPR Knockout Library

This is a CRISPR gene knockout (CRISPRko) pooled sgRNA library constructed for the entire genome of cattle (Bos taurus), covering approximately 20,000 bovine protein-coding genes. It employs a multi-sgRNA/gene design strategy and can be used for genome-scale loss-of-function screening studies. The library is built on the LentiCRISPR v2 vector system and can directly achieve co-expression of Cas9 and sgRNA in target cells. It is suitable for pooled CRISPR/Cas9 screening after lentiviral packaging and can be widely applied to cattle genetic breeding, milk quality regulation, metabolism and growth-development research, virus–host interaction analysis, and screening of disease-resistance–related functional genes.
