HyCyte® 0.25% Trypsin-EDTA Digestion Solution (Phenol Red-Free) (Trypsin)

HyCyte® Trypsin-EDTA Digestion Solution (Trypsin-EDTA Solution) contains 0.25% trypsin and 0.04% EDTA, dissolved in a balanced salt solution and filter-sterilized for direct use in the digestion of cultured cells and tissues. This product is convenient to use, stable, and safe. Most adherent cells can be digested at room temperature in 1–2 min.
In the dispersion of tissue cells (preparing tissue blocks into single-cell suspensions) for in vitro and primary cell culture, as well as in subculture, the digestion and dispersion of adherent growing cells require a tissue cell digestion solution. Commonly used digestion reagents include trypsin and EDTA, whose main function is to hydrolyze intercellular proteins (e.g., the extracellular matrix), dispersing tissues or adherent cells into individual cells to prepare cell suspensions for further experiments.
