1) The Matrix Gel for Tube Formation Assay is shipped with dry ice; upon receipt it is solid. After thawing overnight at 4°C, it can be aliquoted according to single-use volume to avoid repeated freeze-thaw. Long-term storage at 4°C is not recommended when not in use; store at -20°C.
2) The Matrix Gel for Tube Formation Assay rapidly polymerizes into a gel at 22-35°C. It is recommended to use pre-cooled pipettes, tips, and centrifuge tubes during operation.
3) The Matrix Gel for Tube Formation Assay is at working concentration and does not need to be diluted before use.
4) The Angiogenesis Staining Solution is a cell staining reagent that fluorescently labels live cells and emits green fluorescence (Ex=490 nm, Em=515 nm). It is typically used in tube formation assays to produce better imaging results; the staining step may be selected as needed.
5) For better performance, do not aliquot any reagent in the kit for use; avoid repeated freeze-thaw.
6) Use the product within its shelf life; do not use after expiration.
7) Store all products protected from light.
