HyCyte® One-Step Cryopreservation Solution (5 mL Trial Size)
CAT #VG-GUCP-R201
HyCyte® One-Step Cryopreservation Solution is a ready-to-use, serum-free, no-controlled-rate-freezing cell "long-term" cryopreservation solution. This formulation has been used for over 15 years with stable quality! The recovery rate is over 90%.
Features of HyCyte® One-Step Cryopreservation Solution:
No controlled-rate freezing required; one-step freezing at −80°C
Serum-free, protein-free
High recovery rate >90%
Does not affect stem cell properties; cell proliferation and differentiation remain unchanged
Simple to use, high stability
Ready to use directly, no operation required
HyCyte® One-Step Cryopreservation Solution not only reduces damage to the cell membrane during freezing and maintains a high cell recovery rate, but also has high-purity, chemically stable components suitable for long-term cryopreservation of various animal cell lines (tumor cells and routine cells). The formulation is animal-protein-free and serum-free, avoiding animal protein contamination; cells can be safely and stably recovered even after more than 10 years of cryopreservation. The product eliminates the cumbersome and time-consuming controlled-rate freezing process—cells are simply resuspended and placed in a −80°C freezer to complete freezing. The cryopreservation solution contains special components such as saturated fatty acids, polysaccharides, and antioxidants that improve the survival and recovery viability of long-term cryopreserved cells, and is suitable for serum-free cultured cells and protein-expressing cell line banks.
1. Collect logarithmically growing adherent or suspension cells by conventional methods into a centrifuge tube.
2. Calculate the number of cells required for freezing based on culture cell density and the size of the cryovials used (reference count: 5×10^5–5×10^6 cells/mL).
3. Collect cells by centrifugation (reference conditions: 4℃, 250×g, 4–6 min).
4. Collect the cell pellet and completely discard the supernatant in the tube.
5. Add an appropriate amount of HyCyte™ cell cryopreservation solution to the tube. Mix cells gently to prepare a cell suspension.
6. Aliquot the cell suspension from the tube into labeled cryovials, 1 mL or 1.5 mL per vial recommended.
7. Immediately place the cryovials directly in a −80°C freezer (upright) to complete the "one-step" freezing; after 24 hours, transfer to liquid nitrogen or −80°C for long-term storage.
Passed rigorous sterility, osmolarity, pH, and endotoxin testing to ensure the product is free of bacteria, fungi, mycoplasma, and viruses.
For routine cell cryopreservation, cell viability is over 90%.
